Katrina is at Rough Patch on Wednesdays from 12pm-3pm and Saturdays from 12pm-3pm
Works with young people (age 14 and up) and adults who experience low mood, anxiety, or have difficulties managing intense emotions; people who struggle with compulsive behaviours; people who have experienced challenging life events and painful early life experiences; and workplace issues.
Katrina is an AHPRA registered counselling psychologist holding current membership with the APS. She has experience working across education, health and hospital settings, and has experience facilitating group programs and providing individual therapy and assessments to clients from a range of backgrounds and experiences.
Katrina’s therapeutic approach integrates supportive counselling with evidence-based therapeutic approaches including trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy. She aims to create a warm and validating space in which a person can safely explore challenges and move towards a greater awareness and compassionate understanding of themselves.
